Early on, having founded the Advertising Club at the University of Delaware in college, and worked on advertising campaigns for American Airlines and Hearst Magazine, Christopher White graduated and began his career working for a Public Relations and Marketing firm in New York City. He had the privilege of working for MCM Consulting, a consulting firm, and worked with clients such as Anne Klein, Armitron, Alfred Dunhill and Regatta Sport. But through a relationship with a Hall of Fame wide receiver, his life was changed “at the corner of 55th and 5th” and he went from, as he describes, wonderful gala events with Audrey Hepburn, Douglas Fairbanks Jr., Ralph Lauren and Susan Sarandon to incredible life changing events caring for and serving the developmentally disabled. Over the course of the next 23 years in human services, it was there he says he learned true “service” to others.

In 1990, Christopher started his career in human services at Melmark, a then small but now large provider of services for people with developmental disabilities and autism. He proudly began as a direct support professional, and over the course of the next two years, his foundation for servant leadership was developed. He quickly rose to become a supervisor, started an Education Community program with the Melmark School, then becoming a Behavior Specialist as well as a Progam Specialist. He soon was recruited and worked for one year as a Director at Elwyn, in 1999, another large provider of services, before Melmark called him back to serve as Executive Director in 2000. It was at Melmark that he was privileged to learn and develop his business acumen under the company's incredible and visionary President. With over 13 years of Executive Management experience and over 17 years in leadership roles, Christopher has been involved in the successful development of new multi-million dollar programs, restructuring of existing programs to meet the ever changing demands of the industry and the introduction of innovative and efficient systems for residential and day service programs that resulted in making Melmark cutting edge program wise while experiencing substantial savings.

Christopher was also an adjunct professor of Psychology at Montgomery County Community College for three years, has authored a 12 course Leadership and Training Program for frontline managers and is currently completing a manual for frontline managers to be published later this year. With over 10 years of Leadership experience speaking at various state and regional conference and seminars, he is well known by county and state human service officials as well as executives from multiple human service providers for his honesty, integrity, business acumen and dedication to changing lives. Christopher has also served on the Board of MAX (Moving Agencies Towards Excellence) as Treasurer the past 7 years, and was instrumental is moving the agency into web based financial systems.

Thus, over the past 23 years, Christopher worked every operational position in human service organizations, starting at direct care and progressing to become an Executive Director. During the nearly two and a half decades, he continually developed business acumen, a business knowledge base and continual profits, growing multiple divisions from single to double digit million dollar revenues while also implementing operational efficiency systems that saved hundreds of thousands.

In 2013, Christopher left Melmark and founded Forefront Business Services LLC, a business consulting firm that provides a broad range of valued services for a diversified range of small to medium sized not for profit and for profit companies. With a foundation of servant leadership, Forefront is dedicated to individualized attention to each customer’s strategic development and growth, as well as strategic operational efficiency. Through innovative and visionary strategies that seek to drive increased growth in revenue and efficient decrease in operational expenses (utilizing Lean Six Sigma principles), Forefront’s goal is to create Win-Win strategies that help “widen the margin” with each client. Forefront Business Services believes the value of a company is found not only in its fiscal stability but also in its ability to successfully impact and change lives while becoming a beneficial part of the community.

Christopher has his Bachelors in Political Science from the University of Delaware, his Masters in Clinical Psychology from West Chester University and his MBA from Regis University. He also completed coursework for the Lean Six Sigma Certificate with Villanova University.

Christopher has been married for 17 years and has three children. He serves as a Trustee and Sunday School teacher for junior high young adults at his church and is a leader of a small group bible study. He also coached little league football, basketball and softball for his hometown and coached wide receivers for his local high school this past year.
